My research focuses primarily on the Causal Set approach to Quantum Gravity. In this approach the spacetime continuum is replaced by a discrete sub-structure, the causal set. The causal set encodes both the causal structure and the spacetime volume and this suffices to reconstruct the Lorentzian geometry of spacetime in the continuum approximation. I am also interested in foundational aspects of quantum theory, in particular, the quantum measure approach. I also have a long interest in aspects ofÊLorentzian geometry, specifically the causal structure.
