Pre Registration - Admission to PhD Programme 2018
 

Candidates seeking admission in Physics must have a regular MSc degree in Physics/Mathematics or M.E./M.Tech degree in engineering. Candidates seeking admission in Chemistry must have an MSc degree in Chemistry. All candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent for the qualifying degree. Students who expect to complete their final degree in the academic year 2017-2018 may also apply, provided they can produce their score card at the time of admission. Reservations for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be as per norms.

The list of groups and their research activities can be found under the "Research" tab of RRI webpage (http://www.rri.res.in). Kindly familiarize yourself with the research activities by the time of submitting the final application.Please note that you will be called for only one interview (one group) according to your choice and availability.

The online application will start only after the results of JEST, CSIR-UGC-NET and GATE examinations come out. The expected date for opening of online application is around the end of March 2018. Please keep an eye on the RRI admission website in March 2018.
